General Overview
Reman Road implements this 11-step standardized heavy truck remanufacturing workflow for all remanufactured trucks. Every procedure is fully recorded and strictly inspected, breaking the industry’s superficial refurbishment model. Truck Disassembly
We fully disassemble the entire heavy truck without cutting corners, splitting the vehicle into cab, chassis, engine, transmission, cargo box, axle, brake system and all small accessories one by one. Every disassembled component is labeled with independent serial numbers for full traceability, which follows Reman Road’s core principle of transparency. We sort damaged, worn and reusable parts separately to lay the foundation for targeted overhaul and replacement, avoiding hidden mechanical faults caused by incomplete disassembly.
Complete Truck Cleaning
All disassembled parts undergo multi-stage professional deep cleaning: high-pressure sand blasting removes thick sludge, engine carbon deposits and chassis rust stains; ultrasonic cleaning handles tiny precision parts like fuel injectors and valves to clear residual oil and impurities. Thorough cleaning eliminates abrasive dust and corrosive dirt that accelerate part wear during later assembly, ensuring clean working conditions for subsequent remanufacturing links.
Body Rust Removal
For cab and cargo box metal panels, we conduct comprehensive rust detection first. Surface light rust is eliminated by sandblasting and anti-rust primer spraying; severely corroded perforated areas are cut off and replaced with new thickened steel plates. All welding joints are polished smoothly, and secondary anti-rust treatment is applied to prevent repeated rusting under harsh mining and muddy road conditions.
Chassis Maintenance
The truck frame is sent to a professional correction bench to calibrate bending and deformation caused by heavy overload. We inspect all leaf springs, steering knuckles, balance shafts and suspension parts, replacing severely fatigued components. All bolt joints are tightened to standard torque, and lubricating grease is filled into every movable joint to restore the chassis’ original load-bearing stability.
Engine and Transmission Remanufacturing
This is the core procedure of our remanufacturing line. We completely tear down engine and gearbox assemblies, replace worn cylinder liners, pistons, bearings, clutch plates and sealing kits with OEM-standard brand-new spare parts. Every refurbished power assembly undergoes bench testing to adjust power output, oil pressure and shift smoothness, eliminating power attenuation, oil leakage and abnormal noise fundamentally.
Sheet Metal Repair
We repair dents, deformations and cracks on the cab and cargo box panels by cold shaping and full welding. Uneven surface gaps are adjusted to factory standards, all welds are polished flat, and surface defects such as pits and scratches are filled and leveled to restore the neat, smooth original outline of the vehicle body.
Body Painting
We adopt three-layer environmental paint process: anti-rust primer, intermediate anti-corrosion paint and top finish paint. Each layer is baked at constant temperature to form a dense protective coating, resisting ultraviolet radiation, rainwater erosion and mud scratching. Customers can customize vehicle colors according to regional market demands, with uniform paint film and no color difference.
Assembly
We reassemble all overhauled, remanufactured and new parts in reverse disassembly order, following unified OEM assembly specifications. Every component is installed with calibrated torque standards, and pipeline layouts of brake, oil circuit and electrical systems are rearranged neatly to avoid pipeline friction, short circuit and air leakage risks.
Body Equipment Preparation
We install complete standard supporting devices according to vehicle types: dump trucks are fitted with upgraded hydraulic lifting systems; tank trucks are equipped with anti-leakage valves and static elimination devices; mixer trucks are debugged with rotating mixing drums; cargo trucks are sealed with waterproof cargo box accessories. All functional accessories are tested for normal operation after installation.
Quality Inspection
Our QC team carries out comprehensive multi-item inspection covering appearance, mechanical performance, sealing, electrical circuit and safety systems. We record all inspection data into the vehicle’s exclusive remanufacturing file, which can be fully provided to customers to realize transparent quality traceability, consistent with Reman Road’s brand core value of integrity. Any unqualified vehicles will be sent back to corresponding processes for rework until all indicators meet delivery standards.
Road Testing
The finished truck undergoes loaded road testing on complex test routes including slopes, bumpy roads and long straightaways. We continuously monitor engine power, brake sensitivity, chassis stability, hydraulic operation and gear shifting performance under actual heavy-load conditions, simulating real mining and logistics transport scenarios. Only vehicles passing all road test items can be officially delivered to global fleet clients.
